The band contained two-thirds of the popular power trio Cream, in Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton, working in collaboration with British star Steve Winwood of the Spencer Davis Group and Traffic, along with Ric Grech of Family. WebWhen the wrapper is removed, the raw photo is revealed. Seidemann calls the photo "Blind Faith," and Clapton decides that should be the name of the band. When the record company pushes for a more sensible cover, Clapton pushes back and gets his way. The band breaks up almost as soon as the album is released, and plays only one show in the UK. WebBlind Faith was one of the first rock supergroups. Clapton and Baker had been in Cream, Winwood was in Traffic and The Spencer Davis Group, and Grech was in a group called Family. They released only one album, and started touring before it came out. They sold out most of their shows based on the reputations of the band members.
