Webb3 maj 2024 · Users are adding shortcuts from a SPO site and shortcuts do show up on OneDrive web and don't on the machine. We've checked and all folders are selected on the OneDrive sync client setting option. Gloria Li MSFT Webbpretty sure it's that it's possible to have the file be on the local machine that's synced to onedrive whereas shortcuts are always going to be just shortcuts to the files and not the files themselves. I think you are referencing to the suggestion to check if the library is already synced with the sync button.
