If you do not see a left pane, then either click/tap on the 3 bars menu button towards the top left OR widen the horizontal borders of the Microsoft Edge window until you do. I wonder if it has something to do with audio channels, try using Stereo instead of 5.1 and 7.1 see if you can get any audio out of Edge. there are also a few flags in Edge (i'm using Canary now) that you can try turning off and on. they're worth a shot.
